I was very very tired when I came home from my job as a school teacher with little CE1 children and also very affected by the full moon.

After participating in Pascale's Yin yoga class yesterday, it gave me a boost because I was really exhausted.

And today I took part in a restorative yoga class with her again because I had the onset of gastro and I was even more exhausted after my day at work. It made me re-energize. That's great !

Dear Pascale

Thank you for the amazing experience of your yin yoga class.  I did feel like I had a body massage and so relaxed after.  There were some different poses or variations that were different for me.  I liked putting the block under my glute in Dragon pose, also the charging bull pose, bent over with my back supported on a wall.  This is like my new favorite pose! I felt weightless and floaty in savasana.  Thank you for sharing with me!! I learned some new things too about holding the long pose helps the joints release lubricant.  Maybe I have heard that before, but it really resonated with me this time.  I can see how healthy this is for an aching body!

than staying in one pose for a long time  provided joint lubrication. Perhaps  I had heard it before but now it really spoke to me. I can see now  how can that be beneficial for a body that is in pain!

“I have known Pascale for many years. I know how important it is to him to do things with seriousness and passion. I have had recourse, in recent months, to his care on 2 occasions. First of all because I suffered almost chronically from severe lower back pain, such that it hampered my every move and made me feel very old. She offered me a first session of a good hour consisting of a succession of Yin Yoga poses targeted at my problem and adapted to my morphological and anatomical abilities. The result was a great relief although the pain was still dull. 48 hours later, she offered me a second session which had the effect of freeing me from all pain and allowing me, again, to enjoy my body in complete comfort. 6 months have passed. I have since been in no way disturbed by any embarrassment in this place. Then, more recently, I saw myself getting up one morning with a terrible torticollis preventing me from turning my neck to the left. Pascale intervened with a session of a big hour, always concerned that each of the working postures was adapted to my abilities. This session had the immediate benefits of a state of inner well-being and especially the fact that I had recovered a large part of my ability to turn my neck. The next day, all pain was gone, I was no longer hampered in my movements. I cannot recommend Pascale enough for the quality of her interventions, the listening skills she demonstrates, her pedagogy. »

I have known Pascale for several years. I am fortunate to regularly benefit from his valuable knowledge in herbal medicine.

More recently, I told him about my lower back pain, in the course of a telephone conversation. Pascale immediately tried to bring me relief by performing yin yoga exercises. To my surprise, the pain quickly disappeared after a single series of movements.

I was all the more surprised that it had been done by means of totally improvised telephone guidance.

In fact, Pascale did not see me. She chose each exercise based on the answers to her questions.

These concerned for example the location of the pain, the equipment at my disposal.

They were very basic: my bed, the floor, a wall.

This very personalized and very educational approach has recently become accessible to all. I am delighted.

It also has the interest of contributing to our autonomy, to learning to take care of oneself…alone.

It does not go by itself!

Thank you so much for leading this wonderful yin yoga practice today, Pascale. I'm so sorry that I had to leave right after the session…Next time, I'll plan two hours…just in case!

I was amazed how during the course of the session my spine started to almost hum…I could feel the qi (life energy) flowing from the base of my spine all the way up to my neck, the base from my skull and back down again. It was almost like a musical scale playing in my body, seamless and satisfying and physical but also something more than physical.

And my HIPS! Oh my God ! My hips and lower back felt like they had been lifted out of my body, polished, and put back where they belong…Sparkling and supple and almost too precious to use. I felt so grateful to my hips and lower back after today's practice, you can't tell!

Dear Pascal,

Thanks again for the myofascial release with the neck brick.              

With this shoulder injury, I had so much tension in my upper back and my neck.                                                

I think those muscles were probably compensating by holding my shoulder down when I was injured and weak there.                                           My physio did pull ups on my neck which helped but this massage with the brick right after the eagle pose for my shoulders actually worked wonders for me.                                            

I felt relaxed the rest of my day and fell asleep quickly.

I slept soundly for 9 and a half hours! I never sleep so long deeply! It was impressive !!!

I woke up so rested with no more tension in my body.

A good start for a Sunday morning!

Dear Pascal,

Thank you again for this wonderful class! I can't believe how quickly the session went and how much physical and emotional relaxation took place. I started the session completely exhausted with a headache and now feel rested and relieved of my headache too. As you said it was good to practice in a group, I felt less weight in my heart and my mind when I saw all the relaxed and serene faces.

Hello Pascale!

I absolutely loved this session and seeing everyone practice today. My hips also thank you for loosening tight thigh muscles after two weeks of sitting at a computer.      Thanks for the anatomy lesson too. It was very interesting.

Pascale leads classes in a beneficial form of Yin Yoga by utilizing acupressure points to prepare the tissues prior to the poses which was very new to me.  She is very knowledgeable of the acupressure points, the meridians, facia and connective tissues and the synergy that can be realized in conjunction with Yin poses.  Pascale conveys the information well so that students can understand what is possible to experience.  She checks our understanding and also how we are doing in the holds.  We are free to ask questions if we need to and  if we need modifications, she guides us gently.  This form of Yoga is beneficial and healing, and I usually feel like I have been to a spa after class.  I am so grateful to have these classes with Pascale.

Dear Pascale

Thank you for this profound class where I felt I connected to a deeper understanding physically and emotionally to the iliopsoas. Honestly I hadn't know about the connection to anxiety at all, but it struck a chord immediately. In the poses I could almost visualize the whole muscle stretching around my body, it was really wonderful. I love the propped dragon! It made me experience the pose in a whole new way as it changed the focus and let my hip flexor relax more than usual.

Dear Pascale,

I just wanted to drop you a line to say how much I enjoy the yoga classes you have been holding.  In addition to the poses, it amazes me how much information you share about many aspects of yoga and how it all relates to what is happening in the body.  I'm particularly enjoying learning about fascia and self myofascial release and  It has been helping me a lot with various problems and soreness I carry in my body.  I also really like the way you have been curating the classes which makes them interesting and fun.

 

I like the fact that you seem to continually study and take classes so you always have new information about yoga philosophy and poses to pass on to your students. Holding the classes on zoom probably comes with its own set of problems but somehow it always works out.  You even manage to keep watching your students so you help them do the poses correctly.  I especially like this because it makes me feel safe in my poses because of all the guidance you give.

 

Even though having to have the classes on zoom may not be ideal for some people,  it has been wonderful for me because even though I am in the United States,  it has given me the wonderful gift of being able to attend your classes.

Thank you  Pascale for another class taught this morning by you, I felt so relaxed, like I had just had a full body massage. Total yin-brain!  MFR with the yoga block on the occipital bone and the soft squash ball on the scalp muscles were so soothing. I enjoyed the time we spent together.
