  Welcome everyone to this yoga site,
of well-being, fitness and health  !

The yogas offered here are yogas of "reset", of nutrition, of repairing our body and our mind, of rejuvenation. They are for EVERYONE regardless of age or physical condition because the poses you will do will take your anatomy into account. We are all anatomically different. This is why yin yoga and all the other yogas offered here are truly for EVERYONE. They are intended to bring you back to form and energetic well-being, spiritual and emotional physical balance and to movement whatever physical activity you practice. This is a real transformation!

Brand new: yin yoga course for the month of December, 100 hours (2 X 50 hours) to become a yin yoga teacher or for anyone who wants to prevent health problems or take charge of their health without being a teacher. Postponed until spring for family reasons.

 

New: every Sunday at 6:00 pm, CET a myoyin/acuyin workshop

 

 

Sunday March 3, a whole-body workshop, focusing on the bladder and kidney meridians, to strengthen our vital energy and the digestion of our food, our thoughts and our experiences during this never-ending winter in Northern France.

 

These workshops will focus on the bladder and kidney meridians of Chinese medicine, which are particularly important in winter, as well as on the stomach and spleen meridians to ensure proper digestion of food and emotions, and a better metabolism.

 

 

Digestion takes up a third of our energy, and our thoughts and unpleasant experiences take up a lot of energy ....

A winter that never ends ...A lack of light for the past five months ...the result: a never-ending fatigue ...

I invite you to come and regenerate yourself, release your muscular tensions and your stress, your fatigue  and to come and find the vital energy and the mobility that we lose little by little with age and in positions that do not allow our energy to circulate normally. Tissues dry out  and inflammation sets in... This is the beginning of pain and loss of mobility.

How many people suffer from lower back pain? Tension in the neck, upper back  and the shoulders? From their knees, from their hips...?

Yin yoga , a practice still little known in France…And yet…

So many benefits...!  

Yin yoga has the same goals as other types of yoga, the union of body and mind through the breath, combined with poses that are held longer.

 

The difference with yin yoga is that it comes from the Chinese tradition and not Indian, that it does not propose to activate our muscles  through the poses but the deeper tissues: connective tissue, fascia  (see the short 5 minute video on fascias) fascias  which include bones, muscles, ligaments and even joints, part of the body that we normally do not train.

​

This is why it is an extraordinary supplement for all those who have an intense and rhythmic muscular practice and those who do not have it or no longer have it.

​

Staying in the poses for a long time also allows the most active part of our nervous system to slow down and give way to the parasympathetic system which is in charge of rest, nutrition,  healing and rebuilding the body. A true makeover and rejuvenation of our whole body and mind.

Mindfulness meditation  -  different breathing techniques

 

Through breathing, meditation  has many properties: in addition to the calm, serenity and inner peace provided, it allows us to put our "worries" at a distance to better understand them later, it allows us, like yoga, to see what takes up a lot of space in us and which no longer has reason to exist in order to let go and get rid of it.

As for the breathing techniques, they are very powerful.

Just a small apart here for those who are suffering from long covid and still have trouble breathing normally. with certain breathing techniques, they can be of great help.

Restorative yoga , another yoga. It leads you into total relaxation of body and mind... Without working any muscles! Excellent in case of intense fatigue. many benefits too...  !

Yoga nidra , this practice which allows you to recover in 30 minutes the equivalent of 1 to 3 hours of deep sleep...  This practice also helps a lot in cases of chronic stress that can invade us especially right now...

          Hatha yoga for all

Hatha yoga will also be present for beginners in order to acquire the basic poses according to their anatomy and in the therapeutic workshops for those who have regained their mobility to re-muscle and strengthen the parts of the body that will protect others. .

It will also be a question of nutrition to regain your energy by feasting, plants who heal, aromatherapy , clay . ..

Of all the tools that will help us to maintain good health or to find it!

An important parenthesis concerning online yoga classes: know that they are not overloaded, they are limited to 6 in yin yoga, hatha yoga and restorative yoga, 8 people maximum  in yoga nidra and that with Zoom, I see you with your computer cameras and can correct your postures or help you if necessary. I have been trained to adapt the poses to your anatomy.

​ For those who wish, a moment of exchange of feelings is planned at the end of each session.

The advantage also is that if you fall asleep during a restorative yoga session or

of yoga nidra, you will already be at home and will fully benefit from your session.

In these classes, the proposed poses involve work on all the major joints and meridians of the body, combined with breathing. Poses that are held for several minutes. Session for the whole body and mind.
